This exotic example of Pinot Grigio has a straw to pale gold color at first sight. In the nose, fresh and clean notes of pear, green apple and white peaches. The palate is true to the nose with a fresh acidity, coriander and lime characteristics followed by a crisp finish. Perfect with salads, fish and chicken.
This 100% Pinot Grigio is sourced entirely from organically accredited vineyards. Harvested by hand in mid August, the must is treated with pump-overs to achieve color stability. Thereafter reductive handling and fermentation for 15 days at 13-15° C. Maturation in stainless steel tanks for two months prior to bottling.
15% of the proceeds are donated to the non-profit Wyland Foundation for marine conservation and education.
