Sticciano - Maggiano Chianti DOCG

Sticciano

Ruby red color with intense red berry aromas. The palate is full with flavors of plum jam and a long, persistent finish. Pair this classic Chianti with a grilled rib-eye, or a hearty pasta and ragu.

Serving Temperature: 16°-18°C / 60°-64°F 

Winemaking

Grapes are carefully hand-picked and handled with a modern vinification system which permits the winemaker to use extremely low doses of added sulfites. Fermentation for ten days in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures of 27°-29°C, with continued punch-downs. Every 15 days the wine in the cellar is tasted to check the progress.
