The estate is in the northern region of Puglia, southeast of the city of Foggia in the IGT region Daunia. Very close to the Adriatic coast, it receives gentle sea influences.
Hand picked in the early morning in October to maintain low temperatures and delay
fermentation. After malolactic fermentation the wine is refined in stainless steel for 2 months and French Oak barrels for 4 months.
Intense ruby color with violet reflections, aromas and flavors of rich red and black fruits, figs, sweet baking spices, tobacco and smoke fills the glass. Pleasing aromas of ripe rich, mature berries continue to endure. Dry velvety tannins and persistent long finish. Enjoy with mature cheeses, grilled smoky meats.
