Deep red with purple tones. The nose provides a mix of red cherry and raspberry. The palate is true to the nose with primary red berry and a mineral-like acidity. This rustic and robust wine pairs well with crab cakes in a spicy red pepper sauce as easy as it does with beef dishes and hearty aged cheeses.
100% Nero d'Avola sourced entirely from organically accredited vineyards. Picked by hand to ensure the finest grape selection. Fermentation is conducted for 12-15 days, 24-30C with daily pump-overs and one delestage. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks and minimal oak contact to preserve fruit freshness.
15% of the proceeds are donated to the non-profit Wyland Foundation for marine conservation and education.
