Intense ruby red color with complex aromas of red fruit & raspberry accompanied by balsamic notes and spice. Great character with silky tannins. The long finish ends with pleasant notes of ripe fig. Pairs nicely with pasta dishes with meat sauces and with roasted and braised red meat and game.

From blended vineyards with an average age of 25 year old vines, the grapes are hand-harvested in mid-September. They undergo a soft pressing, followed by fermentation with natural yeasts under controlled temperatures. The wine is aged twelve months in oak vats, then further refined in bottle before its release.
