Vindegour

An elegant and fresh sparkling wine with scents of ripe grape and apple combined with a pleasant toasty aroma from its aging. The complex palate is delicate and savory with a fresh long finish. Wonderful for celebrations, but also pairs with grilled vegetables, goat cheese and seafood pastas served with a light cream sauce.  Serving Temperature: 6-8°C / 42-46°F

Winemaking 

Grapes are hand-picked at various times throughout September and vinified separately. The sparkling wine is made using the traditional method with the second fermentation occurring in the bottle after the dosage is added in March.

Varietal: 40% Parellada, 30% Xarel-lo, 30% Macabeo 

Vineyard Designation: Province of Barcelona 

Soil: Variable clay on a bed of chalky stones, permeable ground with good capacity for moisture retention; located at 260-450 m above sea level (depending on varietal) 

Pruning: Traditional & trellis 

Yield: 9,000 - 10,000 kg/ha (depending on varietal) 

ABV: 11.5% 

Sulfites: 70mg/l
