The vine yard elevation is approximately 2000 feet . Very dry , hot and harsh plains of Rioja.
In early September, grapes are harvested by hand in small baskets, from estate grown organic vines averaging 30 years old. The wine is made using traditional methods passed down by the family elders. The clusters are soft pressed and fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
Clean and bright straw yellow tones. Intense floral aromas, and hints of honey. Notes of pear and apple with citrus in the background. On the pallet the wine has a soft texture that presents a slight sweet taste that balances its tannic component. Long and lively stone fruit, honey suckle and minerally finish.
Pair with seafood, fish, lighter poultry and Mediterranean dishes.
