Barrel aged in a 50/50 mix of new and 1 year old French Oak 225 L barrels. Bottle cellared for minimum 12 months.
In the glass, deep rich ruby mixed with a tone of black ink. A stunning color deeper than most.
Aromas of notable intensity, black fruit compote, roasted woodi-ness and seasoned fruit.
On the palate, the tannins softened by the deep flavors of black fruit, acai berry, fig, black cherry,. Finishing with long elegant notes of vanilla, smoky cocoa, and lite hints of caramel.
A very balance, broad palate, powerful and “meaty” Tempranillo.
Perfect food pairing with grilled vegetables, smoked or grilled or BBQ chicken, beef or typical Spanish patatas con chorizo.
